The Church cries out to God with one voice.
As His Church, let's be obedient to the scriptures, unite as one Body, and call on God to save and heal our land!
Throughout history there have been seasons where God’s people unite to fast and pray, asking Him to move in a powerful way. The COVID-19 pandemic is one of those seasons. Join with churches from Metro Detroit as we seek God, knowing He is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
Joel 1:14, 2:13 NKJV "Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord... So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm."
We encourage you to join us as we unite our hearts in prayer and fasting this Thursday, April 9th, let's humble ourselves and cry out to the Lord together. It is our hope that the "One Church" will be praying simultaneously from 7:00-9:00pm.
Three aspects of a Sacred Assembly are: Fasting, Prayer and Petition. The following fasting guide prescribes that you begin to fast from sundown yesterday through the evening today, however, if you choose to fast, you can still fast as part of the time listed and even extend it after online event if you want.
I want to encourage you to pass along the info provided about this event. As His Church, let's be obedient to the scriptures, unite as one Body, and call on God to save and heal our land!
